EA's new IP Dead Space finally makes it to store shelves. The publisher strongly promoted this one for the past year and we've been itching to try out the survival horror game and see if it can deliver the kind of experience we hoped. Check out our review of Dead Space (Xbox 360).

EA has spent the last year promoting its new IP, Dead Space, like crazy. Seriously, DS had seen more trailers and dev. diaries than any other title in development at EA, so I guess they've been quite determined to grab your attention (our review of the Xbox 360 version will be up within a week). Anyhow, the publisher now offers the game's launch trailer, which is most likely the final promotional video for the third-person horror themed action adventure:

The 6th Episode in the Dead Space animated comic series is now available. Check it out: Electronic Arts' horror themed game has already gone gold and is set to arrive to US stores on October 14 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. PC gamers will be able to play the game on October 20. In Europe, Dead Space will be available on October 24 (X360/PS3/PC). Click here to view earlier episodes.

Electronic Arts and Starz Media launched a trailer for the animated movie prequel Dead Space, which is actually meant to bridge the gap between the end of the DS comic books and EA Redwood Shores' third-person sci-fi survival horror game. The game is slated to hit store shelves across Europe and North America on October 21 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. That's correct. It's going to land a bit earlier than we thought and not on Oct. 31.
